NAME: Old Korgoth
KINGDOM AT A GLANCE: Ancient ruins, barrows, caves, crypts, a few small goat herding villages and even smaller taverns. Once a mighty Orcish kingdom, it is now the home of a few human and dwarven settlements, nestled among some of Ardell's highest peaks.
SIZE AND LOCATION: A medium-sized region located in the North of Ardell, bordering the Kingdom of Ashdell to the east.
WEALTH: Low. The only way to make coin in this part of the world is to tend taverns or herd goats. Untold wealth lies deep in the ruins of Old Korgoth's great mountain cities, but none have had the courage to venture inside for centuries.
STABILITY: High.
DANGER TO TRAVELERS: Medium. Outside of the odd pack of wolves or hungry bears, there is little danger. However, Old Korgoth's ancient ruins, crypts and barrows hold all sorts of danger. A dragon was rumoured to be living in the region in ancient times, though it is probably long dead.
FORM OF GOVERNMENT: None.
FREEDOM AND OPPRESSION: Total freedom. A man's only responsibility is survival.
COMMON SPECIES: Humans 50%, Dwarves 45%, other races 5%. The area is sparsely populated so these populations are extremely small.
MILITARY FOCUS: None.
TECHNOLOGY: Medieval.
