NAME: Pabila, Hall of Iron
KINGDOM AT A GLANCE: Pabila is one of the dwarf Hall's in the realm. It is headed by the Ironshield clan, who founded the Hall some years ago. It expands deeper, delving in search of ore to refine, and gems to shape. A trade good crafting Hall, it is heavily defended by all who live in it. Beautiful. Expansive. Rich. The dwarves here should not be trifled with.
SIZE AND LOCATION: A hidden underground city in the Frost Mountains, northeast of Moon Keep and west of Shatterhold.
WEALTH: High. Dwarven iron is inherently better than human iron (because it's dwarven mined, of course). They are skilled craftsmen, blacksmiths, and traders. Easy to make money when you make things people want, like weapons and armor. Jewelry, too.
STABILITY: High. Dwarves tend to not be so full of unrest as others. They're typically content to amass wealth and clobber baddies.
DANGER TO TRAVELERS: Low. Lessen you're a baddy or meaning them harm they're not likely to kill you when they meet you. Elves are treated with general disdain.
FORM OF GOVERNMENT: Monarchy. The Hallmaster is the ruler of the Hall. In this particular Hall, the Ironshields are in command. Shakrin's uncle, Dwemorin, is the Hallmaster.
FREEDOM AND OPPRESSION: Relatively free. That which is mined from the deep is the property of he who mines it, unless it's a powerful gem, at which point the Hallmaster decides its use. Much is permitted for relaxation, including gambling and definitely including drink and pipe smoking.
COMMON SPECIES: Dwarves and only dwarves. Occasionally a visitor, but mainly just dwarves.
MILITARY FOCUS: Armored, shielded berzerkers. Every dwarf can fight. Every dwarf will fight.
TECHNOLOGY: Medieval.
PLAYER CONTROLLED: Yes. Dwemorin will be an NPC, but I intend to NPC him when necessary.
