OOC thread in case things need to be discussed. One minor note. This hasn't come into play yet, but I just wanted to make sure everyone's clear on the forces already present in Therien: "MILITARY FOCUS: Therien was lucky enough to retain several elite units of the Imperial Household Guard. Their numbers have dwindled over the past decade, their veterans have aged, and their well-trained recruits are largely unblooded. Knightly cavalry, elite crossbowmen, midgrade battlemages, halberdiers, and other well-equipped soldiers patrol Therien in small to moderate numbers. These men would be enough to blunt any serious assault, but attrition would be a problem in the long run." As Harrier, I noted that the guards seem to have withdrawn from the Lake Adler estates. You can interpret that as pretty much anything: maybe they're retreating, pulling back to the Summer Palace; maybe they're massing to drop in on someone; do as you will. Hmm. Good information.
Oh, and happy to come into contact with others and have some conflict with them.

Éléonore RousseauHalt your advance any further, not attack. If combat starts, it will be by your hand.

I am so pleased right now you have no idea. This is exactly the kind of stuff I was hoping to see on Kingmakers.

I was mostly remarking about how much fun the confusion of battle lines is going to be, considering Myself, Elenore, Garruk, and Miss Tyre (forgot character name) all came from the south and who knows where Tane is heading in from. (A map would be awesome though and very much welcome.)

OK, I've been asked to render a formal verdict on Aldacer versus Éléonore RousseauAldacer, I spoke with you this morning about conveying the picture of fait accompli. There's nothing wrong with your post, but due to chat, Tellos thought you had one-shotted a 2/3 encirclement, so it's no wonder he got his back up. As for the blessed Greek fire being used for that, the letter of the guideline is about an individual mage taking down an army solo. This is a gray area but overall I don't think it's a serious issue. It's been suggested that various armies can't match airships. Aldacer didn't use the airships to wipe out the enemy in bulk, he just used them for an attempt at restricting movement somewhat. Sounds like good sportsmanship to me. Then two hours after hitting report, Tellos replied to the post anyway, and managed to find a fun partial counter to the airships (the bat swarm). I can think of a few other options he might have had besides that. Kingdoms are good at different things. The point of this isn't perfect fairness. It's the fun of wrangling unpredictable situations. Summon more bat swarms next time. Basically, there's nothing wrong with either one of your posts. This is all just off board drama, and there was no reason for that. So let's just let it lie.

Rousseau refused to accept the judgment, declared his intent to never play fair again, showed no regret for filling the Discord chat with rage and salt for two hours last night, went off at me in general for half an hour, and wouldn't listen to repeated explanations of, say, the difference between 'I curse my catapult ammunition' and 'I cast a spell and it kills a town.' So yeah, buddy's banned. You can all feel free to treat his troops as NPC enemies. Please do so in a respectful manner. Aldacer Alexa Dawning Alexandra Feanor Solaiel Garruk Rhun Llewelyn
