NAME: Daeven
KINGDOM AT A GLANCE: Daeven was formed when the human's of the nearby Cities, and Kingdoms grew afraid of those that could shift into other forms. Daeven is a haven for those seeking asylum from persecution for nothing more than being who they are. Over time many have grown accustomed to the shifters but still there are those that would rather see them dead.
SIZE AND LOCATION: Medium, Daeven sits in the bend of the River north of the City of Gold, and east of the mountains. They enjoy prosperity through trade on the river of goods forged, and crafted within the great City.
WEALTH: Medium. Their location gives them the abiity to sail up and down the rivers to the larger cities and kingdoms and trade their goods.
STABILITY: Medium, yes those that do not accept the shifters have been known to attempt raids upon the City.
DANGER TO TRAVELERS: medium, those going through their first shifting into Hellion could kill, or molest travelers as they are unable to control their anger. Sometimes the slightest insult could bring about issues.
FORM OF GOVERNMENT: (The realm doesn't have to be a kingdom per se. Is it ruled by popular vote? By a guild? By a council or small group? By an ancient sorceress? Do they rule from a city, a fortress?)
FREEDOM AND OPPRESSION: There is little to truly fear.
COMMON SPECIES: The city is made mostly of shifters, however there are other humans who have grown past this fear an live among them peacefully. (75% Shifters, 25% Human)
MILITARY FOCUS: Human's living in Daeven have become dragon riders. They possess no special gifts like the Shifters. Then there are the Hellions and Gryphons that when attacked all shifters shift to their form and protect the city.
TECHNOLOGY: Medieval. There are forgers, and artisans. But one of the largest things coming out of Daeven is gunpowder.
